Finaly its working, almost an year after first gt200 cards was released
All GeForce GTX 2xx cards works so far
Injector from previous posts should support and identify all gt200/gt200b cards, use it and drivers pkg from irc.osx86.hu #gt200 link in topic.

I’ve gotten OS X to recognize my GTX 280 and see the right amount of video memory, but it keeps saying Core Image is set to software and I’m stuck at 1280×1024. I also have a 9800 GTX+ in the computer, but it doesn’t see the VRAM on it and won’t output anything on that card.
What am I doing wrong? Does the injector work with multiple nvidia cards yet?
GTX280 up and running, but only with one monitor so far. When second monitor attached system hangs and monitors turn off right before launching into desktop.
When second monitor is plugged in once on desktop, both monitors go to sleep.
This is a realy great notice… i will go to pickup my gtx285 now !!!

i test whit only gt200_drivers.. but only black screen… and the enable_for_nvidia…. reconize my gt285 but i cant change the reolution.

Thanks Netkas. I had 10.5.7 using the update method in the site, then swapped my GTX 260 for a Palit 4870 1GB coz’ (added a little cash. compare to the 260, it’s slower in games like Fallout 3, a little noiser but runs cooler and it’s smaller).
I think you’re using 4870 card and I read 10.5.7 had a driver for it (I’ve bought that GTX 260 a month ago coz’ of PhysX and affordability). So not taking any chances again I swapped to 4870 (thank God someone wanted to go into SLI). After installing the 4870 (it’s ok with Win7 64) it then booted in 1024 resolution. I did install the package in the article before this one but it didn’t boot, the LCD just went black (with orange LED instead of blue).
Which package should I use for this card? The Natit, the one in IRC or 10.5.7 once updated, there’s nothing to do coz’ the update has the driver for it?

My GTX260 work properly with QE / CI at 1920×1080. But I need absolutely a DVi-VGA dongle to have image. No DVI work. What the heck with those dvi port under os x…
My hd4870 work with dvi port but I need to put the vga cable on port 2 with dvi-vga dongle! Without it, OS X don’t detect my screen.
Now with dvi on port2 and vga on port 2 i’m able to have my screen detected at 1920×1080 with DVI. Need to enable duplicate desktop in the monitor properly.

I got a couple of GTX285 working like a charm. Each driving a different monitor, I wasn’t able to get a dual monitor setup working from a single board since the second DVI port triggers both screens to sleep.
BTW, has anyone got CUDA to work? I am mainly interested in CUDA development, but for the life of me I can get any of the CUDA 2.x toolkits to work. EVen when the CUDA kext is loaded, the driver refuses to acknowledge any CUDA-board is installed.
Anyone know anything about that… I assume that since this driver is based off the Quadro boards, it should support CUDA no problem.

Ok, I got my 2 260 gtx’s to show up, which is an _awesome_ thing, spasiba netkas!
Monitor shows no image with dvi cable connected, only with vga cable with dvi-vga thingy.

As for the CUDA issue, I believe the current CUDA.kext (2.2) just doesn’t support gtx cards.. yet (make sure your cuda dmg actually installs CUDA.kext, for some reason it’s not enabled for installation by default, in options). With the same 2.2 kext my 9800gtx+ and 8800gtx show up just fine. I guess we’ll have to wait.

I have a core i7 920 with bfg gtx 260.
Installed iPC 10.5.6 with bootflags, updated to 10.5.7 vanilla, installed drivers for gtx and then injector.
Restarted and it fully works.
Netkas finally I got my hackintosh back, up and running. You cannot imagine how gratefull I am.

That driver totally did the trick, now deviceQuery shows both GTX as CUDA devices. Awesome!!!

Help me please! I’m trying to get my 2 GTX 260’s working!
I am using iPC ppf5 10.5.6, and I install the driver, then enabler, and no video. After reboot, the apple logo stays and stops spining. I switched from HDMI to DVI, no luck. Any help please?
Mines not working please help me! no one on IRC is willing to help. I did everything! I installed the package then enabler.
I Went into safe mode deleted the Kexts and installed both again. Nothing. i switched to DVI, VGA, and HDMI, the apple logo freezes after a while of spinning. (GTX 260 SLI) (2x). PLEASE help me!

I cannot find peg options in my bios of my 680i but my 2nd gtx is in the third PCI slot if that makes a difference. Should it be in 2nd next 2 first??

I found that I had to use a vga cable with dvi dongle. Dvi cable did not work, for whatever reason on my gtx 260.

So which is better in osx86, one 285 gtx or one 295 gtx?
I’m asking because the 295 has slower cores, but there are two, and on other dual core gfx cards only one core works many times with osx86.
So do both cores work on 295?

Well thats the problem… since i’m brand new to exploring the OS X, i don’t know how things work at all.
So to anwser your question, did i install injector before installing drivers… I’m guessing no, since i only ran the pkg. What are the steps prior to running the pkg?
Update: Got it to work. But running 10.5.7, need to reinstall to 10.5.6 i read somewhere. Resolution was stuck in 1024×768 and getting error on 3 kext files.
But my GTX280 with 1024RAM gets identified.

I tried to update from “apple software update” but after rebooting i couldn’t get back to the MAC OS X,at all.
I don’t really know how to update from 10.5.2 to 10.5.7 ,without crashing after reboot.
I read about that,and someone said to make another partition runing in parallel with 10.5.2 ,and on the second partition i should install 10.5.7.
Okay,so far …so good..but my question is : how do i have to proceed after i installed 10.5.2 ,to get 10.5.7 on the second partition ?
Do i have to reboot / boot from CD/ DVD in BIOS ?

Used Pacifist to extract the kext files from the file. Then installed the kext files with kext helper, then installed the pkg booted. My GTX280 shows up with 1024MB, but without Quartz support.
If i try to run a game i get the error no 3d device found.
Any ideas?

Guys can anybody confirm that gtx 275 work through DVI but 2560×1600 resolution (DUAL DVI!!).
Please reply if dual dvi works for you (30 inch).

Hay is there a way to get dual monitors on the GTX 275 yet.
So I followed instructions correctly, but qe is not supported on reboot. firstly on reboot, it hangs on blue screen or black screen with cursor until i go into safe mode (-x flag) and repair permissions a million times but when its all good im in regular mode and i go to system profiler, finds my 260 GTX, shows correct vram size but says qe is unsupported and scrolling and moving windows is horribly laggy. what the hell is going on? people have reported it working perfect, why isnt it working for me? I deleted NVDAResman.kext for temporary fix but stuck at 1024×768 (graphicsmode=”1280×768x60″ doesn’t work for some reason) which is ok FOR NOW but i need qe support and lag fixed. please post a new tutorial or something or contact me, thank you

This is sooo frustrating. I´m so close. OS 10.5.6 works, but my GTX260 does not.

Can anyone comment on g210m mobile graphics. the cloest i got was installing the 200 drivers and using enabler and choosing 9000 cards and i got qe/ci in leopard but i get graphical glitches, artifacts and stuff. any help for troubleshooting wold be greatly appreciated

i have a Geforce 210, I get it to work using the GT200.pkg + Nvenabler, ATY_INT BUT!!!! it causes soo much GFX headache the computer freezes loading the dock and any GL stuff.. any help!!
