Here is your kepler drivers
Here is link to software update for new macbookpros, which I guess nobody has yet!
and guess what, it has NVDAGK100Hal.kext !
also has ivy-bridge video drivers
A release notes for this update:
This update is recommended for MacBook Pro (mid 2012) models. The update includes fixes that improve graphics stability, external display support, and USB 3 device support.
Sweet! Looking forward to some benches!
You’re the man! Great share my friend!
thank you netkas!
The NDA forbade me from sharing it. =\
hmm, do i dare trying to get these usb 3.0 drivers working (on older third party usb 3.0 controllers at that)…
maybe wait for ML is safer, but sure would be nice to have proper usb 3.0 support, been waiting and waiting for that.
Official USB3 support is almost certainly limited to the Ivy Bridge chipset. Intel is supporting it natively, so now Apple is using it.
Does this include Ivy Bridge compatible kernel? So we can build vanilla IB Hackintosh now?
anyone have any luck with Kepler?
I’m drawing a blank, but I feel like I just need to find combo of old & new
I dont know, a lot of the apple drivers are class compliant and might work fine with other controllers. I might try installing the whole package tonight and see what happens. backing up now…
Hi
The full install messed up my config. Starts to go to desktop then desktop crashes. And it goes into a “recovery” loop, never reaches desktop, so backup a must, lucily I made one.
Unfortunately i didn’t make a backup. Anyway, as a optimus user this update brings some changes. Using a normal DSDT GF100Hal.kext is loaded, using a moddified DSDT to activate optimus (like on linux) GK100Hal.kext is being loaded, unfortunately the whole system is too unstable (like macwanabe said) for proper tests to be done.
So far it seems that Intel HD drivers are to blamed partially for the loop.
well, looks like the OpenCL/OpenGL frameworks in update updates not all files, so some files from frameworks in update is missing
I’m drawing a blank too. Just a white screen. Monitor reports 2560×1440@60Hz so it looks.
I have a GTX670 installed = id 10de:1189 I applied the whole MBP2012 update.
[…] that supports GT 630m I found a link here to download the MacBookProMid2012SoftwareUpd1.0.pkg http://netkas.org/?p=1128 http://netkas.org/?cat=13 perhaps you can install L2 on a PC, run the update and try to boot it […]
