Update about nvidia driver’s bugs

Remember this ?

Recently tested 191.00 drivers: hdmi audio finaly works, clocks throtling seems to work properly again, except when hdmi tv connected or movie played – always in 3d mode

Still screen glitches (horizontal stripes, as you can see on video from that post) when driver changes clocks of vga card, same glitches exist in snow leopard.

Heh, mine GTX 295 have problems in all 19X.XX, this 191.00 also: then I disable SLI, I can’t make screenshots in World of Warcraft, they are simply black, and in 3D Mark 05 and 06 in Canyon Flight test water in rainbow colors.

Am I the only one that loves nvidia???

My 8800GT works smooth on both Win7 and Snow Kitty. My temps are pretty fine and I can play almost any game on very high settings. I’m actually playin’ Batman: Arkham Asylum and Resident Evil 5, both on very high settings.

I always update to the latest drivers.

One question: How did u get the version 191??? On nvidia site, the latest is 190.62.

I don’t trust ATI very much. I don’t know, maybe the cards are very good, but I’ll stick with nvidia.

    Netkas, another comment.

A friend of mine has a unibody 13in MacBook with 9400M graphics and in SL the 3D is very corrupted.

For example, I’ve downloaded for her a flip clock screensaver and it always has artifacts.

    How can I solve that.

Thanks for your work. I’ll try PCEFI v10.3 later on my hackintosh.

It seems there are alot og bugs and problems found in Snow Kitty. I for one am experiencing random slowdowns and mouse stuttering. I used DSDT to inject EFI strings for my GTX260. With my previous experience with Leopard drivers were installed directly and it works flawlessly unlike what I am experiencing with Snow Leopard now.

Hi Netkas if you’ve answered this in one of your previous posts on the net then forgive me. Google failed me in the search for the answer.

Here is question and a very simple response is all that matters just looking for the resolution because I am unable to figure it out myself..

GeForce 6800 00f910de it’s the agp ala pci-e mcgyver job bfg/nvidia pulled off to back fill the low price channel a few years ago.

i cannot get it functioning even by doing everything.. I think it’s something far beyond the normal device/vendor/injector hacks because all of them fail miserably.. it’s technical not achievable please tell me.

    Hi Netkas,

Any ideas how to fix the flicker in Snow Leopard? I’m running a GTX285 because it’s the fastest GPU available for Mac but the flickering is driving me nuts!
