Small file-server update

Somebody(a Macpro owner with pc gtx260) said rapidshare links to Enabler_for_Nvidia_and_multiple_ATI_cards.pkg were dead.

So now this pkg is located on our file server –

CPU-X is on that server now too –

post in comments what else RS link from my blog is dead, I will try to host it on

Also added page with listing of all files on server, it’s here.

Hi, Netkas, please maybe you’ll make 64-bit version of the same kext? It works in SnowLeo in 32-bit, but in 64-bit not.

DSDT works without any extra kexts or enablers. Also i believe strings work without anything extra.

Robbie, you about videocards and 64-bit SnowLeo, why we don’t need ATY_Init.kext?

I can say, that may Geforce GTX295 works perfectly under Leo 10.5.6-10.5.8 using this ATY_Init.kext and also perfectly under 32-bit SnowLeo 10.6.0-10.6-2. But with other methods I get errors:

Under 10.6.2 I can enable my card using EFI strings in both in 32-bit and 64-bit mode, but it works worse: 3d monitor or LCD TV in HDMI can’t work, also any old or other monitor without EDID information in it, connected to any VGA or DVI, crush system at plug-in or don’t even Mac can’t start.

Talking about graphics I’ve noticed that PS2 driver for SL 64 bit cause graphical corruption in some chases such as AppleGrayPage (optional grey screen at boot) and progress bars (in the aqua animation the first part of the progress bar goes unsynchronized with the rest of the progress bar), this drivers cause a general graphical slowdown since login (tested with XBench). And another non-graphical bugs they have are, increase of the boot time with a system lag (no HD activity) during 10-20 seconds and pressed keys after resuming from sleep (sleepwatcher scripts are just workarrounds). Does anyone have some updated project of this driver that works properly under 64-bit SL???

I have Mac Pro 3,1 with ATI 2600 video card running Snow Leopard 64 bit with all latest updates.
I left original video card in the first slot and inserted Palit NVIDIA GeForce 275 in slot 3.
Installed provided file ( and reboot. After that I got blue screen with activity indicator appearing, spinning and disappearing all over again and again (waited about 15 minutes). When I removed geforce 275 card I’m still had blue screen, reinstalled OS and everything was fixed.
If I boot windows everything works fine.
Any fix for that? Is the hardware wrong? Please help.

I’m so frustrated that all the files uploaded to are gone. I’m in dire need of accel.tar.bz2, but I can’t find it any mirrors. πŸ™

If I had netkas files I’d uploaded it to multiupload or something.. It’s a shame to see it go to waste.

Hello! I have a Nvidia 9500 gt 1024 in my MAC pro. I ran this and it got my card to work.
But when I start A game like DOOM 3 I have to put my macpro to sleep then wake it back up to see the game. I was also wondering if there is a better way to get a Nvidia 9500 to work in a mac pro. I can’t seem to boot with it in the first pci slot I have to leave the nvidia 7300 256 in the first slot and put the nvidia 9600 in the 2nd slot. Wen I do this OS X makes me turn down the pipeline from 16x to 8x on both cards. I would really like to be able to pull the 7300 out and put the 9500 in the first slot and set the pipeline back to 16x. -peace

    Hello again!

Well the problem of not seeing my game until I put the mac to sleep has gone away with a update. Odd but it worked. Now if someone can tell me how to flash the BIOS to EFI that will be great. Or should I just spend the 149 and pick up the GT 120 upgrade kit for the mac pro?

Oh and thanks for your hard work.

Hi, and thanks in advanced for any help as I am new to this.

I have a macpro 1,1 with an 8800gt running 10.6.4. If I want to run a 260gtx or 285gtx do I just need to install the card and run the enabled package and leave my old card in the 3rd slot?
