wow wow wow
nice job there vladimir
Nice work. curious what hardware you had this on (CPU/mobo/videocard), and will we be able to just keep using the same pc_efi loader + modded smbios?
You are welcome! Good work, as usual..
poca Vlad..!
v rot mne nogi!
Good work)
So I guess Netkas is using 32Bit Drivers? How do 32Bit drivers work with a 64Bit Kernel?
Congratulations, Netkas, U rulez!!!
Where can we download it for test it…
Amazing job, man…
how the hell did you get this??
Now that was fast. Where did the torrent come from?
fantastic job NetKas, looking forward to testing if you release it?
S . haha, 32-bit drivers will need work in 64-bit kernel, in any system.
No. Take a look at Windows. Windows 64Bit needs 64Bit Drivers. The same thing with Linux I guess.
Maybe XNU is in many cases different.
You are the BEST!!!
tretiy nah)))
you are the greatest, way to go man,
share it on the green demon!
WHEN RELEASE?
Don’t suppose you tried EFI-X with this?
Congratulations, Netkas
oh wow, awesome. any chance that has the nvidia 9600 gt (G94) drivers bundled?
wow you are the rock, netkas,
@aportner : it has 9600 GT kexts.
ha, you really are amazing!

hi:
anyone care to share a hardware list?
thx,
john
Hi,
Great job…
I’ve no idea how hard it was to bring snow leopard to a Pc.
So, I guess that for me the most impressive thing is that you have already Snow Leopard.
We can not find it anywhere on the web (torrent, p2p,…), and I don’t know why you’re refusing to communicate how you get it.
It would be great if you could give us a clue.
Anyway… Congrats.
Hephem
nice work – but a developer release won´t shoot me out off my shoes at this time
… but be sure to have my respect !
Maybe you find me stupid but i bought a macpro 2.8 8-core after running leopard with efi8 on a pc for a couple of months and there really is a big difference in use. (not even talking about properly working sleep, shutdown and scheduled power on/off)
Of course it’s kicking to get it all working on a pc but the smallest issue might break it. I am using it for making music and i wanted reliability.
For me it really was “try before buy” with hackintosh, for that i want to thank you Netkas !
I did make some friends happy with a hackintosh machine.
With my osx86-knowledge acquired from netkas.
No more forced to using windows only. That’s a relief !
I can’t wait for snow leopard with this 8-core…….
Hi netkas, thanks -
Any details? What about AMD?
netkas, are no additional patches needed for Grand Central and OpenCL?
[...] Netkas really did it this time,64-bit kernel and all that,it just AWESOME.I’m wondering if he’s going to release anything for us, any time soon. [...]
this is amazing netakas,
I’m wondering when are you going to release somtin’ for us to play with
with EFI BootLoader everybody can do this
[...] Netkas has done it again! After some hard work Netkas has not only managed to get Mac OS X 10.6 ”Snow Leopard” up and running on his Intel based Hackintosh, but also in full 64-Bit mode using the 10.0.0d1 64-Bit Mach Kernel. [...]
Damn typos.
S . haha, 32-bit drivers will not work in 64-bit kernel, in any system.
Wooooohoooooo, Snow Leopard booted!
Haha, must have been really difficult to boot a Snow Leopar ISO with EFI-X u got, netty…
Always cheating arent ya?
… great stuff , does Snow Leopard also run on Intel 64bit EMT non Xeon processors
Netkas, is there a way to get Snow Leopard booting for us? I’ve tried the 9.2 netkas kernel + EFI 8 and 10 kernel + EFI 8, but it panicks right after the bootloader. (P35 chipset + C2D Q6600)
snow leopard available on the famous green daemon
hello it is available for download and if yes where Can I find?
What about amd future netkas ?

I don’t really see the benefits of 64-bit computing. Just more memory more hardware. Majority of apps still need to use 32-bit apps along with 64-bit to make things work. I don’t know…
I believe it may only be purely for scientific/server applications and not much of a benefit for the regular user. Other then AMD there really isn’t much true 64-bit cpus out there. Core2Dous use EMT64 extensions but really aren’t true 64bit.
sorry buddy but amd’s 64bit code set better than emt64
And 64bit programs can run faster if you coded true i mean its osx not a windows so have a very differents anyway i am waiting answer from netkas about amd ( there is hope ?
) cya
Great news! anyway, what about ToH 9.3.0 kernel for non core™ cpus??
hi Netkas,
that is an awesome advance, congratulations !!
Will you also compile the 9.3 kernel sources? I am still running your 9.2 speedstep kernel, which is 100% stable!! Your modds and compiles have always been the best – it would be a real winner if you also compiled a 9.3 speedstep kernel
What do you think? Have you made a diff about what Apple changed?
Chers,
Bugs
netkas, were are you man?! Don’t let us down… Even if the new boot-132 method works great, you’re still the most important OSx86 hacker… we all need you!! Please don’t leave us… :’(
hei gigabyte E7AUM COPY OF MACBOOK UNIBODY PERFECT FOR SNOW LEOPARD.
