Sixaxis + OSX
Here is source for sixaxis-init app for osx, based on source I found some time ago for linux.
connnect sixaxis to usb port, run sixaxis-init, if it found and initilized sixaxis gamepad – press PS button.
Now you can use ur sixaxis gamepad with apps which supports gamepads, like controllermate.

Update: sixaxis in osx works with most cider games whichi normaly supports controllers, like nfs Mostwanted/Carbon

Wicked. can confirm it works on OS X. Used it to play Halo.
great stuff dude. ive always wondered how can i get my sixaxis to work with my computer. anyway, will this enable the use of the sixaxis thru bluetooth or only usb?
Not got a Ps3/pad to try this yet, but i will do when possible.
Any chance of adding Dualshock3 to that, or will it already work?

any plans to add bluetooth wireless?
afterall, i can already use a PS2 pad on usb and get the same result.

I get that message then press the PS button but it doesn’t work. tried with Halo.

Should this six-axis driver allow a PS3 Guitar Hero III guitar to work with (let’s say) Frets on Fire?
A six-axis driver gets the guitar working under XP/Vista!
or only on Cider games?!?!

Bad CPU type in executable
everytime i ran this sixaxis-init
ihave a 12″ G4 system
This works for me on intel here BUT… the only games I have that use gamepads work through Boxer(Dosbox).. And as far as my testing determined this enables the left joystick for direction plus 4 other button inputs.. The problem is that these other buttons are not practical for gaming as they are: “select”, “start”, “LeftJoystickDepress”, and RightJoystickDepress”.. Is anyone else experiencing this 4 button limitation? Is DosBox limited to these buttons only? I’ve tried TattieBogle’s and USB overdrive X drivers without success.. This is the first glimmer of success but can someone with the technical skills please develop this driver further
