What’s next to pc efi ?
PC efi 6 will have ability to set keys for your videocards(not all gfx) , so u do not ned to sue any natit/titan/nvinject/nvidiaefi/atiinject anymore.
Currently supported cards – geforce 8800 GTS/GTX and ATI Radeon HD 2600 pro/XT, suport for geforce7 is in progress, also maybe it will support gma950 on laptops (desktops don’t work anyway)
Stay Tunned
Glad to hear from you support for geforce7 is in progress:) I’ve run pc efi v6 on my lappy, almost everything (vanilla kernel and stock kexts) fine but video card. Mine is an NV QuadroFX1500M, so I think I’ll be using NVInject meanwhile. Thank you, very much!!… Best Regards.

My bargain second hand bought Genuine Apple nVIDIA GeForce 7300GT PCIe is not supported by boot_gf7.
Back to v52 and Natit
Are you planing support for geforce 8500 cards ?
yes netkas, 7300 GS is also not supported by efi_v6
Will we have support for 8800 GT ? 🙂
Will support for the 8400 GT be possible?
Any plans to include dsmos in pc-efi?
I have a MacPro and would love to be able to use a non-crap video card. Can PC EFI allow me to use a Nvidia 8800 GTX? Thanks!
Will, i think it possible, u need to isntall bootcamp and then boot grub in it, thn laod pc_efi with grub, and then boot osx….
u will need to install alcinject and nvinject for audio and video, then i think it will work….but it’s only if u will have any video output durring bootcamp works.
Hi,
How about Mobility ATI X1700 (71D5)
Thanx for ure support
I’ve been able to get my ASUS en7300gs on efi, it runs perfect

Hi Netkas. This might be a possible EFI specification change: UEFI by http://www.uefi.org
Where’s the code Apple uses for it’s EFI btw? If it fit’s in the BIOS, then maybe it could be flashed in there but the problem may be the program embedded by de facto standard AWARD to run the BIOS in the first place (must be in another chip somewhere in PC motherboards that is read only, possibly a the chip for the POST) and if this chip’s code is emulated plus Apple EFI code, it might not fit the BIOS anymore, unless this EFI code is reduced a little. The other problem emulating this POST code is that modern BIOS have a backup BIOS that is only read only and this comes after POST (it could be by passed though to go directly to the programmbale part of the EEPROM BIOS). I suppose this kind of hardware mod between the BIOS and the EFI would be best done with a mod chip but the Mac’s not as widespread for maker’s to go into that. EFI emulation via software is the best for now. I’m not sure how slower it becomes though.
Hi Netkas…can you make it work on old Graphic Card like mine GF6600…. 🙂

Hi Netkas
Support for gma950 will really be appreciated.
GREAT work!
Can’t wait for the release.
Thanks in advance
Hi Netkas
“FireWire runtime power conservation disabled. (2)” ………..snow leopard
“FireWire unable to determine security-mode; defaulting to full-secure.”………..leopard 10.5.X
Some people thought this error with PC-EFI related.Beacuse when using PC-EFI v10.2 this error has not appeared.after the test I believe.
This error of firewire with pc-efi related? Is this?
Can you fix it in PC-EFIv10.6?
I’m with coolstar. Can you fix the firewire error defaulting to full-secure mode on next PC-EFI release?
That would be really great!
Please please please, fix this error:
“FireWire runtime power conservation disabled. (2)”
Thanks!
It would be aweeeesome if my system could sleep & wake properly. I can’t get past this message in console without restarting
“loginwindow SleepWakeCallback WILL sleep”
you’re the man
Hey, its great the work that you guys are doing. I really love running Leopard on my laptop but theres only one problem. My video card is ATI Radeon Mobility HD 3200. As per what I have read and explored, theres still no support for it. Is there any way I can enable QE on it. A lot of applications crash and I think it is because QE is not supported.
Is there anyway I can get QE on my card as without it apps like Photobooth DivX Player etc crash. Mine is a HP DV4 1225dx laptop
Thanx
netkas, why do you say ATI Radeon HD 2600 pro/XT, work? if OpenCL is not supported, then it doesn’t work, right? Maybe you could say, “detected, loaded, but no OpenCL”. Don’t make your efforts results bigger than they are. Be sincere.
hi netkas…nvidia 9400gt 1 gb is hava a open gl proplem..card works but open gl performance is very bad….
good work
im gonna smash this hd4830 hdmi vga dvi card. it is more healthy for me than having a working mac.
Is the pcefi project dead?
